Avoid extra work with Multi-Location Template Management
Updating patient communications across all your locations is a pain, especially if you have to manually customize them for each office.
We’ve added another time-saving tool to Templates, making it easy to update your email and SMS templates across all your practice locations.
You can now customize any Template in one practice location and copy to any of your other locations. Watch the video below to see how to easily transfer your customized Templates.
Here are some best practices for assigning customized Templates to other locations:
- Make sure that you have the same Appointment Types in all locations.
- Complete any EHR Mapping for Appointment Journeys prior to assigning Templates.
- Double check your work before assigning.
Never send the wrong patient form again
There are a lot of common patient names, and office staff lose precious time double-checking patient files to make sure that forms are going to the right patient.
That’s why we now include a patient’s date of birth in the New Form Request process. Type in the patient name and check the corresponding birth date for an easy way to make sure that it’s the right patient.
It saves staff time verifying patient files and ensures your patients are receiving the correct paperwork.
Customize the default due date for your forms
Some practices like to give their patients plenty of time to fill out paperwork, while others prefer to have a tight deadline.
You can now change the default due date for a NexHealth Form request. To customize your default due date, follow these steps:
- Go to the Settings tab under Forms.
- Adjust your due date to whatever makes the most sense for your practice.
Of course, you can always edit an individual form request due date whenever you want.
Want to go a step further? If you have set up Appointment Journeys, you can set the form due date as the date of the patient’s upcoming appointment in your practice schedule.
