Our August update keeps your NexHealth account safe and secure. It’s been a busy few weeks at NexHealth, and if you missed our recent Appointment Journeys and NexHealth Talk launches, be sure to check them out now.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
We’ve rolled out the option to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to your NexHealth login. You can choose whether or not to turn on two-factor authentication for your practice.
To set up two-factor authentication, have each staff member with a unique NexHealth login navigate to Settings in NexHealth. Under ‘Personal Info,’ select ‘Update Your Mobile Number’ and have the staff member input their cell phone number. You can also choose to run two-factor authentication via email instead of by mobile phone.
Adding a mobile number to the user settings will add an extra layer of security by sending a code to a staff member each time they login to the NexHealth Dashboard.
Advanced IP Controls
Advanced IP Controls allows your practice to restrict access to your NexHealth account to specific IP Addresses or specific devices on your network.
For example, if you want to make sure that office work stays at the office, you can restrict your NexHealth access to just devices that are on your secure office internet connection.
You can set up Advanced IP Controls under the Setup tab and Access in NexHealth.
Dismiss All Dashboard Notifications
Staff are in and out of the NexHealth Dashboard throughout the day – answering patient messages, reviewing appointment requests, and checking completed forms. The bigger your practice, the busier your Notification Center is in the NexHealth Dashboard.
To help clean up your office’s Dashboard view, we created a ‘Dismiss All’ button in the Notification Center to mass clear notifications with ease.
In Case You Missed It:
Appointment Journeys
In July, we launched Appointment Journeys, the first solution that can automate a personalized journey for each patient by appointment type.
You can now send out appointment-specific instructions, forms, reminders, and more based on your patient’s visit type.
NexHealth Talk
Last week, we launched NexHealth Talk – our new, integrated online phone solution that includes Call Pop Up, Click-to-Call from the NexHealth Dashboard, and Texting from the Office Number.
