Can patients check themselves in?
Can patients check in for their appointments while in the waiting room?
With Kiosk Mode for the NexHealth iPad app, patients can now check-in for their own appointments – reducing wait times and allowing you to spend more time on patient care.
How does it work?
- Update the NexHealth iPad app in the App Store
- Office staff selects Kiosk Mode from the bottom center of the iPad app
- The patient selects their name from a list of appointments for the day, displayed as patient first names and last initials
- The patient confirms their birthdate and acknowledges that they are checking in
- NexHealth marks the appointment as checked-in in your health record system
- The patient can then send any outstanding forms to their smartphone to complete in the waiting room
