Can patients check themselves in?

Can patients check in for their appointments while in the waiting room?

With Kiosk Mode for the NexHealth iPad app, patients can now check-in for their own appointments – reducing wait times and allowing you to spend more time on patient care.

How does it work?

  1. Update the NexHealth iPad app in the App Store
  2. Office staff selects Kiosk Mode from the bottom center of the iPad app
  3. The patient selects their name from a list of appointments for the day, displayed as patient first names and last initials
  4. The patient confirms their birthdate and acknowledges that they are checking in
  5. NexHealth marks the appointment as checked-in in your health record system
  6. The patient can then send any outstanding forms to their smartphone to complete in the waiting room
