Set up Out-of-Office Replies

Out-of-office replies are sent automatically to patients who send an SMS message outside your designated service hours to let patients know when you’ll be back.

These messages can be customized and automated for holidays, vacations, or even regular office hours.

To set up: 

1. Click the gear icon in the top right, navigate to Settings, and choose Messages.

2. Toggle on the Automatically reply toggle.

3. If you would like out-of-office replies to automatically be sent to patients who text outside of regular business hours, click Edit to set your Service hours.

4. If you would like out-of-office replies to automatically be sent to patients who text during specified days, like holidays or vacations, click +Add custom date to set Custom dates.

5 You can use the Auto-reply message editor to customize the message patients will receive.
